The Health, Safety & Welfare of our employees, others and the surrounding environment are of the utmost importance to Sloane Demolition Limited and are essential to the efficient operation of our company.


The responsibility for safety at work rests upon all sectors of management right down to the operative on site, we ensure that our policy is implemented throughout and that our management rate their responsibilities for health and safety the same as their responsibilities for production and costs of the company.

We take the surrounding environment and community as a major concern during our works and ensure communication channels are kept open to ensure queries are answered and our contracts run with the minimum amount of disruption to local residents.

The implementation of our policy is accomplished by providing:

  1. A safe working environment by the design, construction, operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and facilities.
  2. Safe working procedures and systems.
  3. Adequate information instruction and training.
  4. By ensuring that appropriate systems are developed and maintained for the effective communication of heath and safety matters throughout our company.
  5. Adequate resources in the form of finances, equipment, time and personnel to ensure health and safety.
  6. Regularly consulting with our employees regarding health and safety.

We expect our employees and others who may be working on our sites to comply with our policy and to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

We ensure that all our processes are controlled to the highest degree, adopting a pro-active rather than a re-active approach to all contracts.

We have our own Health and Safety officer to assist in the company’s duties with regard to health and safety who has sufficient training, experience and qualifications to undertake his role to a high standard.

The Managing Director has the prime responsibilities for health and safety but with his dedicated workforce behind him ensures that we continue with a safe, compliant and healthy working environment for all.

With our membership to highly recognisable health and safety bodies such as RoSPA, it ensures that we have access to a wealth of competent advice and services. With a very stringent auditing system from the likes of CHAS, SMAS etc.

We take every care on site for plant and wildlife by ensuring a survey is carried out prior to commencement of work, by working closely with the appropriate authorities such as Natural England and alike, we ensure that plant life is undamaged and wildlife unharmed.

Quality Management

Sloane Demolition & Dismantling has implemented and maintains procedures and processes to ensure that all our legal and statutory responsibilities are understood and fully implemented.
